Tacky Weddings

You like the Cake Wrecks blog, right? Now you have to go check out the Tacky Weddings blog! O.M.G. There are so many jaw dropping photos and videos that it will be hard to look away. Take a look at that first entry. The 16 and 17 yr old getting married...in a bikini dress...along with all her tacky bridesmaids and kids, kids!!! in hideous 2 piece dresses. Look at the makeup. Oh my! Talk about classy.

I updated my blog roll this morning. I don't know if blogger is having issues or what but if you don't see your name, it could be that I was having "feed" problems. Blogger isn't detecting them or something like that. I don't really know what that means or why I can't add you. I'll try again later.

It's over

Finished, completed, concluded...the blogging contest that is. If you remember, way back at the beginning of the year, several of my friends and I began a blogging contest to see who could blog every.single.day. It had to be an actual blog with at least a couple of sentences, not just a picture or something. Most of the girls had dropped out by March but Melodie and I have been plugging on and on and on. Since at this point, we're only paying ourselves, we decided to call it a draw and split the winnings from the other girls. And here's a little tidbit for you, I've written 388 posts in this year alone!! If that doesn't deserve to win, I don't know what does!

Wordless Wednesday

This just struck me as funny!

New feature

If I can remember to do it every week.....will be Wordless Wednesday. I've seen quite a few mommy blogs that do it already so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon. It will always feature a picture of some kind and is supposed to be wordless, but I have seen some with an explanation as to what you are looking at. And since I'm still in the blog contest, I will have to have some words or another post, so don't think I'm out Melodie! ;)

And then there were 3...

There are only 3 bloggers left in our little contest! We lost 3 this week alone. We'll miss you Julie, Jen and Scarlett! I had each and every one of my blogging friends on my daily read list and it's dwindled down to nearly nothing. :( Even Andrea who is new to blogging (and not in the contest) hasn't posted in a week. At least Heather's still hanging in there- even though she took herself out of the contest at the beginning of the month. Way to go H! I'm not sure how much money is in the original pot but I think it's like $85. Divide that by 3 and we finally get some moola. Yea!
