Craigslist funny

Apparently there was an ad in our local Craigslist from a mom looking for a Mommy & Me Preschool type place to bring her son. This person answered her ad. Here it is for your laugh of the day- copied and pasted. I added the italics just for all the misspellings.

You can sine him up with us this Wesnesday. We are very good in teaching the alpabat and numbors. Your child will get all kines of attenchion and we would absolootley love having him with us. Please call me and I can diskuss this with you if you would lyke. Karen H*** (name and phone # taken out)

Seriously? Please someone tell me this is a joke! Would you really want this person teaching your child? Wow.

Service Outage

Dear World:
The United States of America, your quality supplier of Ideals of Liberty and Democracy, would like to apologize for its 2001-2008 service outage.

The technical fault that led to this eight-year service interruption has been located, and the software responsible was replaced Tuesday night, November 4th.

Early tests of the newly-installed program indicate that we are now operating correctly, and we expect it to be fully functional by mid-January.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the outage, and we look forward to resuming full service---and hopefully to even improve it in years to come.

You like the Cake Wrecks blog, right? Now you have to go check out the Tacky Weddings blog! O.M.G. There are so many jaw dropping photos and videos that it will be hard to look away. Take a look at that first entry. The 16 and 17 yr old getting married...in a bikini dress...along with all her tacky bridesmaids and kids, kids!!! in hideous 2 piece dresses. Look at the makeup. Oh my! Talk about classy.

Hahaha!!!

I was out shopping today for diapers and grabbed some sushi (calif. rolls) at SuperTarget on the way out for a late lunch. Dh had never had wasabi so I gave him a small taste of just that. He tasted it and nodded his head that it was good and then it hit him 5 seconds later. If you've never had it, the heat of it goes straight to your nose. I was dying laughing at him! I wish I had thought to get my camera out.

I also had to go to Costco for a few things and was wearing Bella in my mei tai. She had fallen asleep and one of those sample giver ladies asked me if she was suffocating in there. I was nice and said no, she's just asleep. But really?! Do you think I'd let my daughter suffocate against my chest?? Oy vey!

Opera anyone?

I was looking at some Christmas music this morning getting ready to make my next post and I was singing along to I Want A Hippopotomus for Christmas. Ian came over and told me I was a "good singer" and Logan chimed in with "you should do opera". LMAO! I am not a good singer and could not and would not embarrass myself even trying to do opera. Singing in the comfort of my own home and car are okay though. ;)

Oh my!

Ian and I had quite the conversation this morning. I was changing his diaper and had to touch his penis. For those who don't know, he'll be 3 next month.

Ian: Why did you touch my penis?

Me: So I can clean it.

Ian: I want to touch it.

Me: Oookay.
Me: You never let anyone but Mommy, Daddy and the Dr touch your penis, okay?

Ian: Okay....I want to show my friends my penis.

Me: Uhh no, we don't show off our penis.

Ian: why?

I'm sure there was more to this conversation but I can't recall it all. It struck me as very funny though. He's very inquisitive. Everything nowadays is- Why? I don't remember ever having a conversation with Logan at this age about his penis. He's never said he wanted to show his friends either. I'm in trouble! LOL
