Back to School

And the cars are already speeding thru the school zones. Yes, I'm sure you'll be hearing about it a lot on my blog. Do they not see the big yellow-green or orange cones in the road? Maybe it's the big bright signs they are missing? I guess the kids walking on the sidewalk are all too little to see thru that huge SUV/van's windshield. No, that's not it. They are just MORONS. Stupid, stupid people in their own little world....

I did see my friend I was talking about on Monday. The one with the little girl in Logan's class. Well, she actually spotted me as she was driving by to drop off her dd and since it is a school zone and she had to go slow with traffic and all, she said hi. I know I'll see her on school grounds eventually! And if not, more than likely I'll see her at one of the holiday functions in our family.

I forgot to add, I didn't wake up until 6:46 this morning! OMG. Thanks dh!! I slept thru two flippin' alarms!!! He said he thought I was feeding Bella. She was with me but she had gotten up at like 5am so I had fallen back asleep with her next to me. When did he plan on waking me up? When I had 5 min left to go? Argh.

Score one for the Po-po

While driving Logan to school this morning, I saw a cop car had pulled over a minivan. About darn time! It floors me that a lot of the time, it's moms and dads speeding thru the school zone! (yes, even some moms from Logan's school)

And I don't know if I mentioned this before but the week Bella was born, I had to go to the peds office with her and dh drove us. We had to go thru the school zones to drop off Logan first and dh sped thru!!! I was like, What are you doing?! You're one of the ones I vent about on my blog! He said he never noticed it was a school zone. Seriously? You didn't see that big honkin flashing yellow light?! Aye yi yi...

Makes my blood boil

It's a really good thing I'm not a cop. It's a really good thing that Logan will be going to a school within walking distance where I know people do the school zone speed limit(no choice as the road gets stacked up). I hate, hate, hate driving him to school thru the 2 school zones we have to go thru every morning. Car after car after car never slow down!!! Seriously, are they that blind they can't see a big ass flashing yellow light?? Maybe they should get OFF the cell phones! Thankfully, there are no kids going to school still at this time of morning- they are already in class but that's so not the point. I know I've touched on this before on my blog but it makes my blood pressure go up every day! I want to honk at them or get a license number or do something!
