4 more!

Poor Bella just got at least 4 more teeth- all her canines and all at the same time. I guess the teething necklace I bought her did some good because while there were a few times she was crankier than usual, they were usually the times I forgot to put the necklace on her. Of course she did have other cranky times but for getting 4 teeth all at once she's been remarkably happy. Getting a picture of those teeth is impossible with all her wiggling though. You'll just have to wait for that one. :)

Baltic Amber

I ordered a Baltic Amber necklace for Bella from InspiredByFinn. Baltic Amber has succinic acid in it which when warmed up by the skin releases healthy oils and is absorbed into the bloodstream. It provides a natural pain relief/anti-imflammatory for teething, headaches, muscle aches, etc. It's used mainly in Europe and can be found in pharmacies over there.

So after reading about them and hearing other mom's reviews I bought one and finally got it yesterday. It looks absolutely adorable on her and I'm really hoping when she starts cutting more teeth that it will help with the pain. She didn't do so well with the teeth this last round. I took some pics of her today with it on. How cute is she?!

1st Tooth

Well it's a bit hard to see but it is there. She was screaming earlier and since that's a great way to get to see what's in there (LOL) I grabbed the camera. I can actually feel it now too. Sharp little thing! I can't wait until she bites me while nursing with that thing! (insert sarcasm here) ;o) Thankfully I'm a 4.5 year veteran at nursing and know what to do!

Teething, Talking and Movies- oh my!

Boy oh boy, I have my first cranky teething baby. Neither of the boys were particularly cranky during teething. Bella has her days though. During one of her screaming fits today (when I plopped her in the highchair to feed her some applesauce) I was able to get a good look in her mouth and I swear I see both of her front teeth coming in. One for sure but I think I see a hint of white next to it. Poor baby. Still no pics. Sorry. When she's screaming she's also moving so there's no getting a decent shot.

She's also begun *talking*. Never when the camera is on of course. She talks to her brothers in the car. We were driving on Saturday and all of a sudden I hear dadada from the back. Color me surprised! She loves her brothers though and I don't know what they do back there but she was just having her own little conversation with them. She's sticking her tongue out and trying to make sounds too. Oh so cute!

I've discovered that Baby Einsteins videos work on her just as they worked on the boys. They really save my sanity some days. She'll be fighting a nap, cranky and crying and I can pop in a BE move (she loves Baby Neptune and the duck in particular) and she immediately quiets down and within minutes she's asleep in her swing. Love them!

Here's a pic from this weekend and some video!

All I Want for Christmas...

Is my two front teeth...

Guess who the tooth fairy will be coming to see very soon? Yep, Logan! He told me his tooth was loose so I checked myself and sure enough he has not 1 but 2 loose teeth. They are just barely loose though so it may be a few days or even weeks!

Kid updates

I think Bella is teething. She's been cranky lately. She's usually such a laidback baby and evenings haven't been pleasant lately. Poor thing. I've been giving her teething tablets before bed and I think they may be helping.

Ian is (and has been for a while) officially potty trained- day and night! We have had a couple of accidents here and there and I know they are just accidents. We put him to bed Friday night after Disney with his clothes on since he was so exhausted and he couldn't get them off fast enough when he woke up. It's okay, I'm thrilled I only have one child in diapers!

No news on Logan to report. I still haven't heard anything on his testing. Guess I need to get this lady's name and make a phone call.
