I.Can't.Win
Bella now has the Medicaid but her actual insurance which will be Staywell won't take effect until Dec. 1st thanks to Medicaid not getting their act together all these weeks. They screw up, we get punished. The ped. I was looking into for her doesn't take straight Medicaid which would mean I would have to change Drs again or pay OOP which is around $200 freakin' dollars for the office visit and vaxes. sigh....

Karlise~OMG I am SO sorry you keep going through this crap with Bella's healthcare! UGH~We went through something similar when Cassidy was a baby. Chad had left the church he was youth pastor at and I had already quit my job in Physical Therapy to be home with Cass...Thank god at the time Tennessee implemented TennCare(insurance for those who qualify financial wise in TN)It was good to have if you didnt have other insurance. I think we are one of the few states that has this...It is now called CoverTNKids. I have also been through the whole switching pediatricians thing!UGH~that wore me out but I was glad I switched when Catherine was a toddler!
I know I've said this several times before, but you can get Bella's vaccinations for free through the health department. That's how Sarah and Emily stayed up to date on theirs when we didn't have health insurance.
