4:30am Fun!

Really, there's nothing like it. You're sleeping soundly and you hear the pitter patter of little feet and then *cough cough* in the hall bath. More little feet back to the bedroom so you think it's nothing and roll back over. Oh no, not so fast. Here he comes again and then you hear it. The unmistakeable sound of someone tossing the previous night's dinner. That was what I got to deal with early this morning. He made it to the toilet fine the first time and went back to bed and so did I. Did you really think that was the end though? Nope. There he went again and apparently this time he missed. Big time. And I went to help him and stepped in it(it was dark and I didn't have my glasses on fwiw). OMG. Guess what I got to do this morning? Have I grossed you out yet? I went back to bed and sometime a couple of hours later dh asks me if Logan will be going to school. Um nooo. He was throwing up last night! The only good thing that came from it all is that I got to sleep in this morning. I think it well deserved.

How is he now you wonder? He's fine. F.I.N.E. Running around, ate some waffles (against my advice) and is now playing a video game. Makes you wonder how they do it. How can a kid be so sick and then perfectly fine just a few hours later? I have no idea what made him sick. He didn't eat anything different than us. And he was fine when we went to tumbling last night and when he went to bed. Who knows.

I know a few people, just last night, that have had their kids with a quick stomach problem. Not even a 24 hour thing, just a quick 4 or 5 hour thing...At least Logan has the weekend if he should start feeling a bit sluggish!

You're lucky. When Maggie gets it, it lasts days! A week before Christmas she was throwing up for 3 days. And then this past Tuesday she started at around 8pm, and threw up ever 30 mins until about 5 am! Then all day on Wednesday she spaced it out at least 2 hours in between. She still felt bad on Thursday, but no more puke!
Today she was back at school! Yea!
